This really seems to be nailing that dream game we all talk about for survival settlement sims. but then also goes and harvests my farm for me. but, the npc I did get so far, is a smith, who can make items for me. sound fx.īorrows a settlement system thats a little bit Dragonquest builders, a little bit Starbound. It's still early days (I know - i'm exhausted of early access as well) but there's a good bit of content in the game already, and I think we should support the devs so the game can reach its full potential, it really checks a lot of boxes for me. Not sure max server limit, definitely a few friends at least which I'm grateful for. If you like the gear/loot progression, boss fighting, and NPC/merchant housing of Terraria + the town-building, animal husbandry, and peaceful exploration of Minecraft + the colony management and base building/defense of Rimworld then you should 100% give Necesse a try.Īlso it has functioning online or LAN co-op right off the bat, I was able to host a world and my friend could easily join without any issues. It's currently only $5 USD during the winter sale (Dec 22 - Jan 5 2021) The game is called Necesse on Steam (not the best name in my opinion). Posting here because this subreddit has helped me find some amazing games, want to return the favor. I really think I found a hidden gem on accident by searching for "colony sim" tags on Steam, I had never heard of this game and all of its reviews were positive.
